USPHS Nurse Cadet Commemorative Coin

U.S. Nurse Cadets are famous and iconic American heroes. The nurse cadet corps was administered by the U.S. Public Health Service uder Surgeon General Thomas Parran. They provided 80% of the nursing workforce from 1943-1948 for the entire United States and are credited with preventing the U.S. health care system from collapsing. This coin was made in their honor.
