One of our most popular t-shirts is the U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS) shirt. "USPHS" is printed boldly across the chest and it has the anchor and caduceus design on the left sleeve.
A simple yet effective design that has always stuck with me from other uniformed services is the classic "ARMY" shirts that I would see others wearing at the gym or on certain military bases. It's a bold declaration of pride in your branch of service. I always thought, "Gee, it would be cool if the Public Health Service had a shirt like that!"
Now guys, I know what some of you may be thinking...
"The Public Health Service is not the Army."
I would never attempt to claim that nor believe that by any stretch of the imagination; however, Public Health Service officers who know and understand the history of the U.S. Public Health Service are unabashed in displaying "USPHS" boldly across his or her chest!
The subtle anchor and caduceus on the sleeve adds an extra flare and adds meaning to USPHS!
I hope you enjoy the shirt. Be PHS Proud!!!
